Vitamin B complex tablets support the healing and prevention of mouth ulcers that are caused or exacerbated by vitamin B nutritional deficiency. Thiamine (B1) deficiency, specifically, has been linked to ulcers. In clinical studies, supplementation of vitamins B1, B2, and B6 have been reported to speed up the healing of ulcers.

Lactobacillus acidophilus are beneficial ('good') bacteria whose presence in the digestive tract have been clinically shown to reduce the occurence of both mouth ulcers and peptic (stomach) ulcers, as well as improving overall health. L-Lysine amino acid present in  Kordel's Cold Sore Relief  tablets effectively stops the herpes simplex virus (the cause of herpetiform aphthous stomatitis ulcers) from reproducing during a viral attack, thereby greatly speeding up the healing of the ulcers and effectively preventing further ulcerations.
